sabine ganezer linfield dept. of music senior capstone presentation
Hailing from Santa Monica, California, Sabine Ganezer (b. 1997) is one of those people who never stops questioning everything. Numerous past and present Linfield faculty can attest to this. To name a few: Victoria Gunn, with whom she studied violin; Anton Belov, Hannah Penn, and Rebecca Fromherz, in the voice department; Andrea Reinkemeyer, in composition and theory. At Linfield, Sabine’s fascination with language – whether comprised of words or otherwise – led her to pursue a double major in Creative Writing and Music. She plans to graduate in Fall 2019 after completing a project that focuses on the intertwining of music, text, and the in-between, through the field of songwriting. Sabine’s other interests include French language and literature, marine ecology and biology, nail art, and playing the violin (but hopefully not all at once!)
